My hope for FCC is that we create a climate in which people can hear the Gospel in a way that connects and opens them to the possibility of a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ and each other.

Paul G. Rebelo was called to First Christian Church as Senior Pastor in 2005 after serving at Central Christian Church of Fairmont, WV: Paul earned a B.S. in Religion & Philosophy from the University of Charleston and a Master of Divinity at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio. Paul is currently finishing  a doctoral degree at Trinity Episcopal Seminary.

He is married to Christine, a stay-at-home mom taking care of their four children, Lawrence, Emily, Montgomery ("Gummy") and Rachel. When he isn't in the office or leading worship, Paul enjoys playing with his kids, reading, swimming, tennis and watching any sport on TV (he once stayed up until 2 am to watch the International Badminton championships).

Pastor Paul is one of Chattanooga's foremost proponents of "Favorite Movies." His favorites include The Dead Poets Society, Father of the Bride, and ....
